Hycosan Dual Preservative-Free Eye Drops are lubricating eye drops for dry eyes and for irritation, itching and burning linked to allergies. They combine 0.05% sodium hyaluronate with 2% ectoin in a 7.5ml multi-dose bottle that delivers 225 measured drops. The formula contains no preservative and is suitable for contact lens wearers. The drops lubricate the surface of the eye and help reduce tear evaporation.

The bottle uses a one-click system, so each press releases a single drop and there is no need to squeeze. Use one drop in each eye up to three times a day, or as advised by an eye care professional, and use the bottle within 6 months of opening. The drops are not for children under 6, and you should ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. How Hycosan Dual Works

Hycosan Dual uses two ingredients with different roles. Sodium hyaluronate is a moisture-binding substance that lubricates the surface of the eye and helps keep it hydrated. Ectoin helps stabilise the tear film, which reduces how quickly tears evaporate and helps ease the irritation, itching and burning that dry or allergy-prone eyes can cause.

Because there is no preservative, the drops are gentle enough for regular use and for people who wear contact lenses. They do not treat the cause of dry eye or allergy, and they are not a substitute for an eye examination if your symptoms are persistent.

Ingredients

• Per 1ml: sodium hyaluronate 0.5mg (0.05%), ectoin 20mg (2%)
• Other ingredients: borate buffer (boric acid and borax) and water

Preservative-free. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands. Remove the cap.
2. Before first use only, hold the bottle upside down and press the base until the first drop appears.
3. Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down. Place two fingers on the base of the bottle and your thumb on the shoulder.
4. Press the base once to release one drop into the eye. Repeat in the other eye if needed.
5. Close your eye slowly to spread the drop. Do not let the tip touch your eye, skin or any surface, and replace the cap.

Dosage: Use one drop in each eye up to three times a day, or as advised by an eye care professional.

If you use other eye products: Wait at least 30 minutes after using other eye drops, and apply any eye ointment after Hycosan Dual.

Before you use it: Not for children under 6. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you are pregnant, may be pregnant or are breastfeeding. Write the opening date on the bottle and discard it 6 months after first opening. Store below 25°C, keep out of the sight and reach of children and do not use after the expiry date. Do not use it if the bottle is damaged. Stop using the drops and speak to a pharmacist or eye care professional if you have eye pain, persistent redness, changes in your vision, or if your symptoms get worse or do not improve.
