Product Description

Kalms Day Tablets 96 And 168 Tablets | Valerian Root Extract 26mg

Kalms Day Tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with stress, such as mild anxiety, based on traditional use only. Each coated tablet contains 26mg of dry valerian root extract, equivalent to 104 to 130mg of valerian root. The daytime tablets come in packs of 96 and 168 for adults and the elderly, and they are sold without a prescription.

The usual dose is two tablets three times a day after meals, with a maximum of six tablets in 24 hours. Take them continuously for two to four weeks, and see your doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve after four weeks. Kalms Day may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so do not drive or use machinery if you are affected, and avoid alcohol. Do not use them if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or already taking a medicine for stress or anxiety.

How Kalms Day Works

Kalms Day contains a standardised extract of valerian root, a herb that has been used for many years in traditional medicine for stress and mild anxiety. Its use is based on long-standing traditional use only. It has not been through the clinical trials required for a licensed medicine.

The effects may not be immediately apparent, which is why the leaflet advises taking the tablets continuously for two to four weeks. Kalms Day is not a treatment for anxiety disorders and it does not work instantly. If you feel persistently anxious, low or unable to cope, speak to your GP.
