Product Description

Optase Manuka Oil Eyelid Wipes For Dry Eyes 30 Wipes

Optase Manuka Oil Eyelid Wipes are preservative free eyelid cleansing wipes that cleanse, soothe and hydrate the eyelids and the skin around the eyes. Each pack holds 30 individually wrapped, biodegradable wipes, made with manuka oil, hyaluronic acid, glycerin and calendula. They are suitable for people who may be prone to blepharitis and dry eyes, and they need no rinsing.

These Optase lid wipes lift away make-up, dirt, oils and debris from the eyelids and the base of the lashes. The textured wipe is pre-moistened, so you wrap one over a clean finger and wipe gently across a closed eyelid, morning and evening. As an eyelid wipe for dry eyes, it fits into a daily lid hygiene routine alongside the advice of your optician.

Key Features

  • 3-in-1 eyelid cleansing: cleanses, soothes and hydrates the eyelids and the skin around the eyes. Optase says the hydration lasts up to 8 hours.
  • Manuka oil formula: manuka oil (Leptospermum scoparium) is plant-based, and Optase says it has natural antibacterial properties.
  • Hyaluronic acid, glycerin and calendula to hydrate the skin.
  • 30 individually wrapped wipes: biodegradable, preservative free, and tested by dermatologists for sensitive skin, according to Optase.
  • No rinsing needed: use a fresh wipe for each eye and throw it away after use.

How Optase Manuka Oil Eyelid Wipes Work

These eyelid cleansing wipes work in two ways. The textured wipe physically lifts crusts, oils, dirt and make-up from the eyelid margin and the base of the lashes, and the pre-moistened lotion on the wipe helps loosen them.

Optase says the manuka oil has natural antibacterial properties. Hyaluronic acid, glycerin and calendula are included to hydrate the skin, so the lids feel soothed rather than stripped. Because the formula is rinse-free, you wipe, then discard the wipe.

This is a lid hygiene product, not a treatment. Results vary from person to person.
