Dosage and Administration:

• Recommended Dose: One 50 mg tablet taken with water approximately one hour before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day.
• Onset and Duration: The effects of Viagra Connect typically start within 30-60 minutes and last up to 4-6 hours.

Effectiveness:

• Success Rate: Clinical trials have shown that Viagra Connect is effective for around 74% of men who use it, improving their ability to get and maintain an erection.

Product Characteristics:

• Tablet Description: Blue, rounded diamond-shaped tablets measuring 11.2 mm x 8.1 mm, marked “V” on one side and “50” on the other.
• Excipients: Each 50 mg tablet contains 1.7 mg lactose (as monohydrate). It is not suitable for men with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Special Considerations:

• Health Conditions: No dosage adjustments are required for patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. However, individuals with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 mL/min) should consult their doctor before taking Viagra Connect, as a lower dose may be more suitable.
• Interactions: Sildenafil clearance can be affected by certain medications, such as CYP3A4 inhibitors. Patients should be advised to consult their doctor if they are taking any medications that could interact with sildenafil.
• Alcohol and Food: Drinking excessive alcohol can temporarily reduce the ability to get an erection. Taking Viagra Connect with a meal containing a lot of fat may delay its onset.
