Product Description

Cialis Together 10mg Tablets Tadalafil 4 And 8 Tablets

Cialis Together 10mg tablets are a pharmacy medicine for adult men with erectile dysfunction, which is when a man cannot get or keep an erection hard enough for satisfactory sexual activity. Each tablet contains 10mg of tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor, and is taken as needed before sexual activity rather than every day.

As a pharmacy medicine, Cialis Together is supplied only after a pharmacist has checked that it is suitable for you. That check matters, because tadalafil is not safe for everyone, particularly men who take nitrate medicines or have certain heart conditions. It comes in packs of 4 and 8 tablets, so you can choose the quantity that suits how often you expect to use it.

Key Features:

  • Contains tadalafil 10mg. A single, fixed strength taken as needed, up to one tablet in 24 hours.
  • Works with sexual stimulation. It helps you get an erection when you are sexually aroused, and will not cause one on its own.
  • Takes effect from 30 minutes. Take it at least 30 minutes before sexual activity, with or without food.
  • Effective for up to 36 hours. After one tablet, you can respond to sexual stimulation for up to 36 hours.
  • Available in 4 and 8 tablet packs. Not intended for continuous daily use.

How Cialis Together Works

Cialis Together contains tadalafil, which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, which allows blood to flow in and produce an erection.

This only happens when you are sexually stimulated. Taking a tablet will not give you an erection by itself, and you and your partner will still need foreplay as you normally would. For most men the tablets work the first or second time they try them, though it can take several attempts if it has been a while since you were able to get or keep an erection.

Ingredients

  • Active ingredient: Tadalafil 10mg per tablet
  • Tablet core: Lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium laurilsulfate, magnesium stearate
  • Film-coat: Lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, triacetin, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172), talc
  • Also note: Contains lactose. Contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23mg) per tablet.

How to Use

  1. Take one tablet as needed, at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
  2. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food.
  3. Do not take more than 1 tablet in a day.
  4. Cialis Together is not recommended for continuous daily use. Talk to your doctor if you feel you need to take it every day.
  5. Avoid grapefruit juice, which can affect how well the tablets work, and avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol before sexual activity.
  6. If you have taken the tablets as directed and are still not able to get or keep an erection, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.
  7. See your doctor within the first 6 months of using Cialis Together, because erection problems can be an early sign of other conditions such as heart and blood vessel problems, diabetes, high blood pressure or depression.
  8. Store in the original package to protect from moisture, below 30°C, out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Do not take Cialis Together if you:

  • take nitrate medicines or nitric oxide donors (such as glyceryl trinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, nicorandil), or use amyl nitrite ("poppers")
  • take riociguat or other guanylate cyclase stimulators
  • have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of a heart or blood vessel problem, including a heart attack in the last 90 days, a stroke in the last 6 months, unstable angina or severe cardiac failure
  • have low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • have ever lost vision because of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
  • have a deformed penis, such as Peyronie's disease
  • are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredient
  • do not have erectile dysfunction, are a woman, or are under 18

Tell your pharmacist or doctor before taking it if you use alpha blockers, other blood pressure medicines, finasteride, itraconazole or ketoconazole, rifampicin, erythromycin or clarithromycin, ritonavir or saquinavir, phenobarbital, phenytoin or carbamazepine, theophylline, cimetidine, or any other treatment for erectile dysfunction.

Stop taking it and get medical help immediately if you have an erection lasting more than 4 hours, a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing, chest pain (do not use nitrates to treat it), or an allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat, wheezing or a rash.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Cialis Together used for?

Cialis Together is used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. Each tablet contains 10mg of tadalafil, which helps you get and keep an erection hard enough for sexual activity when you are sexually stimulated. It is not for use by women, by anyone under 18, or by men who do not have erectile dysfunction.

2. What is the difference between Cialis Together and regular Cialis?

Cialis Together is a pharmacy medicine at a single 10mg strength, while regular Cialis is a prescription-only medicine sold in several strengths. Cialis Together is available without a prescription, but only after a pharmacist has checked it is suitable for you. Regular Cialis needs a prescription and may be used at different doses, including lower once-daily doses, which is a different way of using it from Cialis Together.

3. How long does Cialis Together last?

After taking one tablet, you can get an erection when sexually stimulated from 30 minutes and for up to 36 hours. That is the window during which the medicine can work, not a continuous erection. Without sexual stimulation, the tablet will not produce an erection at any point.

4. Will taking two Cialis Together tablets work better, or can I combine it with other treatments?

No, you should never take more than 1 tablet in a day, and taking more will not make it work better. Higher amounts increase the risk of side effects without a proven benefit. If one tablet taken as directed is not working, talk to your pharmacist or doctor rather than increasing the dose. It also should not be combined with other treatments for erectile dysfunction unless a doctor has advised it.

5. Who should not take Cialis Together?

Men who take nitrate medicines or use "poppers" must never take it, because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure. It is also unsuitable if you have been advised to avoid sexual activity because of a heart or blood vessel problem, have low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, or have ever lost vision due to NAION. It is not for women or anyone under 18. If you have a heart condition or are unsure, check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

6. What are the possible side effects of Cialis Together?

The most common side effects are headache, back pain, muscle aches, facial flushing, nasal congestion and indigestion. These are usually mild to moderate. Rarely, serious effects can occur, including an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden loss of vision or hearing, and chest pain, all of which need immediate medical help. You can report any side effect through the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
